Listed below are brief descriptions of the events sponsored by Challenge Golf.

01 CGA Chapters

The CGA Chapter is a local gathering of people focused on growing together and serving local communities around the game of golf. In addition to playing in and hosting amazing golf events, CGA Chapters provide opportunities to give back through partnerships that aid foster children, fight human trafficking, support people battling cancer, trapped in addictions, and so much more. CGA Chapters are being started across the country and are fantastic places to have fun, build relationships, and serve others, all while playing golf.

02 VIP Experiences

VIP Experiences are a staple of the Challenge Golf Association. These world-class events offer rare opportunities and access to exclusive golf courses, face time with celebrities, renowned musical artists, and best-in-class amenities with proceeds supporting local communities through the CGA Chapter.

03 The Shootout

The Shootout officially began in 2020 as an exciting, unique, and quickly played golf tournament in conjunction with the Chapter gatherings. The Shootout is a unique “Closest to the Pin” contest conducted at various courses within the chapter region. The CGA transforms each hole of the course to par 3 distances from 50-170 yards, utilizing our own custom tee markers and scorecards. Each course layout is customized to provide a fun challenge that anyone may win. Players have 18 opportunities to win “Closest to the Pin” and take home a prize for each! One birdie putt or one birdie chip is all that is needed, since everyone makes par in this fast-moving 2.5 hour contest. And the best activity concludes the tournament...the $1000 Putting Contest! Play in The Shootout and get your chance to “Go for the Green!”

04 The Challenge Cup

The Challenge Cup is a one-day member-guest select-shot golf tournament held each spring and fall. The Cup began in 2015 and is conducted at an exclusive, upscale venue, providing a spectacular day of food, fun, and fellowship. Participants are encouraged to bring someone new to introduce them to Challenge Golf.

05 The Invitational

The Invitational tournament is a cornerstone event of the Challenge Golf Association. Data shows that 8 out of every 10 people playing in a golf tournament struggle with loneliness, addiction, anger, and more. The Invitational provides a place for these individuals to experience service and grace.

The 100% free event is hosted by a local CGA Chapter, with members serving as caddies who spend the day demonstrating a picture of grace to all players. The Invitational concludes with an opportunity for players to start their faith journey in Christ.

Members make the difference

The CGA Players Club is a group dedicated to second chances. We partner with organizations to help those most in need, and for a small donation of 10 dollars a month you can join us in using the game of golf to change the lives of foster children, trafficked victims, cancer patients, and those trapped in addictions.
